Delmiro Abilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Ignazio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Eldorado's Fermin Montez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Eldorado from getting a goal against them. After 26 minutes of play, C.D. Oriente Petrolero's Roque Medardo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fermin Montez was left in no man's land by his defense there! C.D. Oriente Petrolero's attack was well implemented in the 32nd minute, but when Arturo Ieltxu was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Julian Mosen fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D. Oriente Petrolero's protests and gave Julian Mosen a yellow card for diving instead. Arturo Ieltxu in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fermin Montez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Eldorado's zone, Feliberto Rodriguez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Montez came out of the goal and Feliberto Rodriguez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliberto Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Montez having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Ignazio to make the kick off. Arturo Ieltxu struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Fermin Montez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.D. Oriente Petrolero. When Arturo Ieltxu came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the C.D. Oriente Petrolero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Ieltxu couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Feliberto Rodriguez notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Eldorado's Fermin Montez. Fermin Montez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arturo Ieltxu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fermin Montez having to make a save. In the 67th match minute, Eldorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriana Kemen to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Medardo in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Arturo Ieltxu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fermin Montez was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. C.D. Oriente Petrolero's Arturo Ieltxu got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Feliberto Rodriguez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fermin Montez was relentless in the 79th minute of the game.
