Arnulfo Lawrence's late challenge caught a Aike FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 29th minute Basilio Orkatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Farias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Charro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Vladimiro Farias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Coneta's goalkeeper Federico George had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Rik. Mauro Charro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Farias having to interfere. A collision led to Aike FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ariel Montrell hit a great ball. Federico George made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Victoriano Rik sent off a good shot on target. Mauro Charro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 53rd minute Mauro Charro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Farias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Aike FC's Victoriano Rik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico George made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 62nd minute, Paolo Ferran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Bastian in the 70th minute of play forced Coneta's goalkeeper Federico George to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico George stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvio Bastian's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Eliseo Gumaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coneta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aike FC the free kick. Eliseo Gumaro kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Federico George made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Bastian in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Coneta booed when Aike FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Montrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimiro Farias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basilio Orkatz in the 87th minute. Victoriano Rik struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Federico George didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aike FC. After 92 minutes of play, Aike FC's Victoriano Rik made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico George was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aike FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
