After a defensive mix-up in Guqueri F.C.'s zone, Lisandro Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Goi came out of the goal and Lisandro Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Catriel FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Flavio Etxekopar hit a great ball. Zacarias Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Baumer in the 5th minute of play. After some careless play in the Catriel FC defense, Narciso Chuse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias Elazar. The Catriel FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Elazar should have stopped the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Guqueri F.C.'s Marcos Baumer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zacarias Elazar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Marcos Baumer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Elazar was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Narciso Chuse put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Zacarias Elazar. After 22 played minutes Guqueri F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Bizen. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Baumer in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Elazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Narciso Chuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Guqueri F.C. booed when Catriel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Eliazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Guqueri F.C.'s Marcos Baumer in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zacarias Elazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Chuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The audience was convinced that Narciso Chuse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Elazar was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romulo Flor was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Catriel FC's Romulo Flor got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hao Chang Ying got free with Zacarias Elazar in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zacarias Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hao Chang Ying in the 59th minute of play. Narciso Chuse in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zacarias Elazar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marcos Baumer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Baumer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zacarias Elazar came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcos Baumer slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Narciso Chuse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Elazar. Catriel FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Chuse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcos Baumer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zacarias Elazar. That made the score 0-6 in the 77 minute of play. Gervasio Selmo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Narciso Chuse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Elazar. Catriel FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Chuse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. When the match was over Guqueri F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Catriel FC throughout the match.
