In a very dangerous position, a player in Club A.Douglas Haig fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Haroldo Gaxan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Amor in the 11th minute of the match. Astor Amor scored 1-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo Gaxan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Astor Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club A.Douglas Haig's Justo Perfecto got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Astor Amor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Gaxan was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Astor Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42ndth minute of the game Virgilio Bautista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vallimanca's Haroldo Gaxan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victorio Ubelteso came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Vallimanca's Arnaldo Ralondo. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Ralondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Gabon made a kick off. With his leg Haroldo Gaxan managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Club A.Douglas Haig's Astor Amor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Virgilio Bautista might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haroldo Gaxan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgilio Bautista ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the game, Astor Amor lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Haroldo Gaxan. Haroldo Gaxan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Amor in the 61st minute. Astor Amor got in the 63rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Haroldo Gaxan handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Haroldo Gaxan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Astor Amor went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. A collision led to Club A.Douglas Haig getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Zbyszko Sebzda hit a great ball. Virgilio Bautista kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Astor Amor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Haroldo Gaxan made a huge save. Victorio Ubelteso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Gartzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Justo Perfecto's late challenge caught a Vallimanca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Perfecto helped the player get up and apologised. When Horacio Bernaldo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Vallimanca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Bernaldo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 89 minutes, Virgilio Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club A.Douglas Haig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justo Perfecto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astor Amor got free with Haroldo Gaxan in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Club A.Douglas Haig could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vallimanca throughout the match.
