If Benedicto Lapurdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Andalucas AFC's zone, Federico Nicholas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Benat came out of the goal and Federico Nicholas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Angelino Lucero sped through Bandera AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horacio Gagriel. After a rather tough play, Andalucas AFC's Elvio Berenguer got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Federico Nicholas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bandera AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Nicholas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelino Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Benat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Quintan in the 46th minute of play. Benedicto Lapurdi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Paolo Quintan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Benat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelino Lucero to strike the kick off in the second half. Horacio Gagriel made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Elvio Berenguer sent off a good shot on target. Elvio Berenguer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Horacio Gagriel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Bonifacio Nuxila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horacio Gagriel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Lucero in the 66th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Candido Quilino during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 75 played minutes, Andalucas AFC's Anier Jayvier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Horacio Gagriel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Andalucas AFC reached it. 77 minutes into the game, Federico Nicholas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Aaron Benat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Bandera AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Vinicio Oto hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Andalucas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Nicholas came free, but Aaron Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bandera AFC booed when Andalucas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Lapurdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Berenguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Horacio Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
