Cerrito's Godfredo Raymon got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvestre Gaitan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godfredo Raymon in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Godfredo Raymon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Gaitan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Eusebio Llorenc kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Teodosio Perutxo rounded Torres's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. After having played for 21 minutes, Teodosio Perutxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Perutxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvestre Gaitan made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Godfredo Raymon sent off a good shot on target. Godfredo Raymon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvestre Gaitan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodosio Perutxo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. A collision led to Torres getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Prudencio Ondino hit a great ball. Torres's Silvestre Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Perutxo in the 38th minute of play. Teodosio Perutxo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silvestre Gaitan came out and tried to block the shot, but Teodosio Perutxo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Godfredo Raymon could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Silvestre Gaitan however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Perutxo in the 45th minute of play forced Torres's goalkeeper Silvestre Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godfredo Raymon was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godfredo Raymon in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvestre Gaitan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodosio Perutxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Teodosio Perutxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Guillermo Rolado fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torres's protests and gave Guillermo Rolado a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes Torres got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Rolado. Cerrito's Maximiliano Silban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Cerrito from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Rolado got free with Maximiliano Silban in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Godfredo Raymon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Gaitan having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Godfredo Raymon notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Torres's Silvestre Gaitan. Silvestre Gaitan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 79 played minutes Torres got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Ofelio. After 81 minutes, Pablo Omero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cerrito and the Torres players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pablo Omero kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Gerardo Oihenarte hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Godfredo Raymon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Gaitan was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 94th minute of the match Gerardo Oihenarte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvestre Gaitan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Cerrito were the better team. Cerrito's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
