Sven-Ove Kämpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th match minute, La Mansión was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Maidsaar to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Gerald Van Bever managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mansión's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerald Van Bever was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Savier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Ove Kämpe got free with Eduardo Savier in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
