In the 16th minute, Blas Pepillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Etxeberri's late challenge caught a Mechongué's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Etxeberri helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Ostargi in the 20th minute of play forced Limarna AFC's goalkeeper Eduardo Savier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Mosen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Hever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Limarna AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Ostargi came free, but Eduardo Savier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Edgard Ostargi notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Limarna AFC's Eduardo Savier. Eduardo Savier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the match, Fermin Manuelo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Mechongué's Hector Mosen. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Mechongué's Arnoldo Cordaryal got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 45 played minutes, Mechongué's Faustino Locaio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduardo Savier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mechongué reached it. In the 47thth minute of the game Edgard Ostargi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limarna AFC's Eduardo Savier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Edgard Ostargi made the kick off in the second half. Aaron Lixandro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Edgard Ostargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mechongué's zone, Justino Hever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Mosen came out of the goal and Justino Hever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Manuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Blas Pepillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Savier was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgard Ostargi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eduardo Savier. That made the score 2-4 in the 83 minute of play. Justino Hever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Mechongué's Eduardo Savier threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgard Ostargi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Mechongué players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
