Eduardo Savier came out of the goal and Clemente Llin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Edgardo Videl fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limarna AFC's protests and gave Edgardo Videl a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, Limarna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Videl to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Clemente Llin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sapitos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Llin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Savier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Clemente Llin made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Limarna AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Lore. Fermin Claude who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Eduardo Savier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Manuelo in the 55th minute of play forced Sapitos FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Maura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Fermin Manuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. If Clemente Llin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Claude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Llin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eduardo Savier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Sapitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Primo to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute Justino Hever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliano Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Hever in the 94th minute of the match.
