Ernesto Jayvier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Vermudo in the 15th minute of the match. Diego Jacob's late challenge caught a Alvear FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Jacob helped the player get up and apologised. The long shot by Alvaro Lander in the 25th minute really tested Ernesto Jayvier's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ernesto Jayvier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Vermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Fausto Mannuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvear FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Mannuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Jayvier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alvear FC's Hugo Vermudo, in the 40th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Alvear FC. In the 58thth minute of the game Dionisio Tabby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvear FC's Nemesio Hechter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nemesio Hechter didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Alvear FC's zone, Dionisio Tabby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Hechter came out of the goal and Dionisio Tabby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Asier during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
