Maximo Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Tino in the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Inocente got free with Nemesio Hechter in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Fausto Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes, Felipe Clemencin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manzanares and the Alvear FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Ricardo Asier sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Manzanares's Maximo Franco didn't even have to move. Fausto Mannuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Franco having to interfere. Felipe Clemencin got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 25th minute, Felipe Clemencin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 31 minutes, Hugo Vermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvear FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Vermudo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Garcia during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Manzanares booed when Alvear FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nemesio Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Hugo Vermudo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Manzanares's Maximo Franco. Maximo Franco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Alvear FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nemesio Inocente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Hechter having to interfere. Fausto Mannuel scored 0-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximo Franco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Hugo Vermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvear FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Vermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Franco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Fausto Mannuel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvear FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Manzanares's zone, Fausto Mannuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Franco came out of the goal and Fausto Mannuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th match minute, Alvear FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Vermudo to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Mannuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Maximo Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Hugo Vermudo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maximo Franco, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Vermudo in the 76th minute of play forced Manzanares's goalkeeper Maximo Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Mannuel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everardo Tino kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Inocente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Hechter was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Nemesio Hechter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Inocente, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Hugo Vermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvear FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Vermudo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geronimo Obeko hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Andres Lico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximo Franco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Manzanares's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Hugo Vermudo scored to the left of an out of position Maximo Franco, making the score, 0-4. When the match was over Alvear FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Manzanares throughout the match.
