An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Menendo in the 8th minute of play forced Cochrane FC's goalkeeper Faustino Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustino Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Atarratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Cochrane FC's Faustino Rico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Eliazar in the 13th minute of play. Faustino Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Eliazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Baldomiro Martxelin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faustino Rico skillfully saved the ball. In the 21st minute, Basilio Darien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd match minute, Cochrane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Sagrario to maneuver through the defense. If Dionisio Sansone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Quinteros hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Apolo Eufemio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cochrane FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Eufemio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Benet charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Benet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Benet hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Eliazar to strike the kick off in the second half. Samuel Arano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Agustin Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Arsenio Ubarna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustino Rico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Cochrane FC's Damian Demesio got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Raquel's zone, Saverio Argina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Arano came out of the goal and Saverio Argina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Alvaro Quinteros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raquel's David Benet got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered David Benet off the ground. Saverio Argina kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Samuel Arano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Demesio went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Raquel booed when Cochrane FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Sagrario didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Demesio in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Arano saved Raquel from getting behind. Agustin Cheche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Demesio in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Arano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuel Arano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Sagrario in the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Demesio in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Arano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Agustin Cheche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Arano having to interfere. Marciano Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cochrane FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
