The supporters of Chuña booed when Avellaneda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Birjaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Avellaneda AFC's Octavio Birjaio got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Aurelio Ramos fired a really elegant long shot, but Joel Ferrando threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Victorino Norino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Urtun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Avellaneda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Gamus came free, but Joel Ferrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Gamus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Ferrando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Aquilino Gamus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Conrao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Urtun having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Victorino Norino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avellaneda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Norino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Urtun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octavio Birjaio got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 27th match minute, Avellaneda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Birjaio to maneuver through the defense. Aquilino Gamus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Ferrando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Joel Ferrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Gamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hermengildo Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Ferrando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Gamus's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Aquilino Gamus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorino Norino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Victorino Norino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avellaneda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Norino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chuña's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avellaneda AFC the free kick. Gavino Guillelmus hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Joel Ferrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Gamus in the 58th minute of the match. If Aquilino Gamus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aquilino Gamus came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Chuña fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Gamus couldn't finish the play. When Victorino Norino came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Avellaneda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Norino couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Avellaneda AFC's zone, Hermengildo Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Ferrando came out of the goal and Hermengildo Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Ferrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Gamus in the 76th minute of the match. Jaime Maju kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Aquilino Gamus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Ferrando was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 90 minutes into the match, Chuña's goalkeeper Federico Urtun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Norino. 91 minutes into the match, Victorino Norino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Federico Urtun. Chuña's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Norino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Avellaneda AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chuña.
