In the 14th minute, Fulgencio Valentine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BS AS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After having played for 18 minutes, German Pes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zonda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Pes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 27 in the game by Jeronimo Irrintzi from a close distance when the talented Julio Arixo managed to make a qualified save. Zonda FC's players were relieved. Jeronimo Irrintzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Julio Arixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BS AS's Orlando Chaime got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 36th minute, Jeronimo Irrintzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BS AS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and German Pes made a kick off. Jeronimo Irrintzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Stuckens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Arixo having to interfere. After having played for 54 minutes, Jeronimo Irrintzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BS AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Irrintzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 played minutes, BS AS's Angel Medardo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Arixo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BS AS reached it. If Jeronimo Irrintzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Irrintzi in the 63rd minute of play forced Zonda FC's goalkeeper Julio Arixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Stuckens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Arixo having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Zonda FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Abaurre. Jeronimo Irrintzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Arixo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Zonda FC's zone, Tony Stuckens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Arixo came out of the goal and Tony Stuckens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeronimo Irrintzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Arixo having to interfere. When BS AS's Jeronimo Irrintzi in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zonda FC's goalie prevented a goal. Tony Stuckens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Julio Arixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Stuckens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Arixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Irrintzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Angel Medardo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Arixo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Julio Arixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Irrintzi in the 96th minute of play. BS AS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
