Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Melchor Baumer took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Barbosa in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silverio Egoitz saved Villafañe from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Wilfredo Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reñico's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Egoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernabe Mikeldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Wilfredo Barbosa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 9th minute, Florencio Hever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bernabe Mikeldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Wilfredo Barbosa put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Silverio Egoitz. After having played for 28 minutes, Dante Aritza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reñico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dante Aritza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bernabe Mikeldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Barbosa in the 43rd minute of play forced Villafañe's goalkeeper Silverio Egoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
After 58 played minutes Villafañe got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Chano. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Villafañe's goalkeeper Silverio Egoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilfredo Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Egoitz having to interfere. In the 65th minute Wilfredo Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Egoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Bernabe Mikeldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Ramon Pierres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reñico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villafañe the free kick. After 75 played minutes Reñico got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Pierres. In the 78th minute Wilfredo Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Egoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reñico's Bernabe Mikeldi got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 played minutes Reñico got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Normando. Sixto Maureo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Silverio Egoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reñico. Aldo Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Silverio Egoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reñico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
