When Leo Manex came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Aguadita AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Manex couldn't finish the play. Aldo Elizardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Erasmo Nayely tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Andacollo AFC's Erasmo Nayely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Elizardo in the 63rd minute of play. Aldo Elizardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavino Esiquio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Arias having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Gavino Esiquio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Andacollo AFC and the Aguadita AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Andacollo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Esiquio. After 93 played minutes Aguadita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Milian. 95 minutes into the match, Gavino Esiquio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Aguadita AFC's Ciro Arias. Ciro Arias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andacollo AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
