Andacollo AFC's Erasmo Nayely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Jakes in the 33rd minute of play. Leopoldo Normando's late challenge caught a Andacollo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Normando helped the player get up and apologised. Leopoldo Normando hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Blas Paio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Tonio might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Nayely. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ambrosio Tonio ran back to his position shaking his head. Erasmo Nayely made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Restu in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hilario Mikeldi made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Edgard Gora dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sixto Jobo, 1-1. Blas Paio struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Erasmo Nayely didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Candelaria FC. Cesar Jatsu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Paulo Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Julian Restu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Andacollo AFC's Erasmo Nayely. Erasmo Nayely was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute Blas Paio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Nayely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Andacollo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Gora to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blas Paio in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Nayely saved Andacollo AFC from getting behind. If Ambrosio Tonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Nayely having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, La Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Tonio to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Andacollo AFC's zone, Paulo Ofelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Nayely came out of the goal and Paulo Ofelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th match minute, La Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Jakes to maneuver through the defense. When Edgard Gora was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. Luciano Jakes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Ofelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Nayely read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that La Candelaria FC were the better team. La Candelaria FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
