The referee ignored Mischango AFC's protests and gave Hernan Sugoi a yellow card for diving instead. If Artemio Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Urdin in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Malota AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Bonadona to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Leon Guipuzkoa managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Malota AFC's Ernesto Esquipula fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Armando Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Sayvion in the 23rd minute of the match. One of Malota AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mischango AFC:s goal. The referee gave Mischango AFC a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Niceto Luzea, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Malota AFC's Armando Santos. 1-1. With a little luck, Mischango AFC's Leon Guipuzkoa got control of the ball when Ernesto Esquipula tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Maximino Beltza took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Leon Guipuzkoa to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Esquipula got free with Leon Guipuzkoa in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvio Huly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Santos having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximino Beltza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Maximino Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Guipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Urdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
