Mandisoví's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strobel AFC the free kick. Carlos Pietro hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Gavino Seguinus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uriel Iratze read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Aristides Cai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leandro Abajas having to make a save. Aureliano Gonzales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Gonzales in the 18th minute of play forced Strobel AFC's goalkeeper Leandro Abajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Cisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 minutes, Uriel Pereyra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mandisoví and the Strobel AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Uriel Iratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Seguinus in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Mandisoví's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Seguinus came free, but Uriel Iratze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match, Gavino Seguinus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Uriel Iratze saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emiliano Cisco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 38th playminute. 45 minutes into the match, Gavino Seguinus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Uriel Iratze, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavino Seguinus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Orain kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Jesus Millan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strobel AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Millan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Uriel Pereyra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Aristides Cai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mandisoví's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Cai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Abajas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gavino Seguinus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Iratze having to interfere. Rodolfo Abechuco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Uriel Iratze. Mandisoví's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 70 played minutes Mandisoví got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Ciano. The audience was convinced that Gavino Seguinus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uriel Iratze was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 77th minute Blas Ermano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Abajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aristides Cai came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Mandisoví fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Cai couldn't finish the play. Strobel AFC's Leandro Abajas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Strobel AFC from getting a goal against them. Gavino Seguinus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Uriel Iratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Ermano charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Ermano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Mandisoví got a freekick which was hit by Blas Ermano. Uriel Iratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Seguinus in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Strobel AFC's zone, Aureliano Gonzales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Abajas came out of the goal and Aureliano Gonzales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
