Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Arroyito FC's Zacarias Abilio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Arroyito FC booed when Cafe Veloz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Eneas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's Antonio Cloyo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 5 played minutes Arroyito FC got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Hustaz. A hard shot by Anselmo Urbasa from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Jesus Abeitia's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 8 minutes into the game, Roberto Eneas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cafe Veloz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arroyito FC the free kick. Roberto Eneas kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Zacarias Abilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Rosario having to interfere. Cafe Veloz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arroyito FC the free kick. A collision led to Cafe Veloz FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Natalio Intxixu hit a great ball. If Zacarias Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacarias Abilio in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Rosario saved Cafe Veloz FC from getting behind. During the 29th minute of the match Roberto Eneas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Roberto Eneas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 29 played minutes Cafe Veloz FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Eneas. Arnoldo Rosario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Abilio in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Cafe Veloz FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Edgardo Seber hit a great ball. Godofredo Gilabert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Abeitia having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Arnoldo Rosario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquilino Vitin in the 53rd minute. With splendid footwork Zacarias Abilio arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-1 by the left pole in the game's 55th minute. Edgardo Seber kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Godofredo Gilabert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Abeitia having to interfere. After some careless play in the Arroyito FC defense, Godofredo Gilabert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Abeitia. The Arroyito FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Abeitia should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Jesus Abeitia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Godofredo Gilabert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Abeitia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. When Arroyito FC's Nemesio Hustaz in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cafe Veloz FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Hustaz in the 78th minute of play forced Cafe Veloz FC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Rosario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's Antonio Cloyo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 89th minute, Anselmo Urbasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesus Abeitia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
