After 13 minutes, Francisc Brădescu made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Achalco AFC's Generoso Bela tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Francisc Brădescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Generoso Bela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisc Brădescu ran back to his position shaking his head. ALMIRANTE BROWN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisc Brădescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braulio Leobardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Barea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisc Brădescu had several of the Achalco AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Generoso Bela as he didn't even see the shot coming. Generoso Bela had great luck who in the 40thth minute grab hold of the ball when Francisc Brădescu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 43rd minute of the match, Francisc Brădescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Generoso Bela saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisc Brădescu to make the kick off.
