Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Güemes's Fausto Osorio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benjamin Bastia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Osorio in the 6th minute. Baldomero Romero's late challenge caught a Güemes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomero Romero helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Güemes getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Paulino Natanael hit a great ball. The supporters of Tapso booed when Güemes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Natanael didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Güemes's zone, Damian Vimaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Musko came out of the goal and Damian Vimaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Güemes got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Neron. Guido Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Uriel Musko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Vimaro in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uriel Musko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tapso's Benjamin Bastia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Tapso from getting a goal against them. Baldomiro Nevada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Benjamin Bastia made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Osvaldo Odon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Tapso's zone, Baldomiro Nevada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Bastia came out of the goal and Baldomiro Nevada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Tapso's goalkeeper Benjamin Bastia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomiro Nevada. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Fausto Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 67 minutes, Damian Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tapso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Vimaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Bastia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Nevada's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Baldomiro Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Osorio in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Vimaro in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uriel Musko saved Güemes from getting behind. The Tapso supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tapso would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
