In the 5th minute, Ambrosio Gaspard fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Siro Demesio, passed just outside the right post. Quilino AFC's Benedicto Beturian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Cidro in the 12th minute of play. Jonas Cordario hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Ambrosio Gaspard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Cidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Delfino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cazapán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quilino AFC the free kick. After 24 played minutes Cazapán got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Delfino. When Quilino AFC's Ambrosio Gaspard in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ezequiel Delfino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauro Ubendu struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Siro Demesio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilino AFC. Christian Cidro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benedicto Beturian having to make a save. Ezequiel Delfino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Beturian having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 60th minute, Ambrosio Gaspard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Siro Demesio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 63rd minute, Jonas Cordario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Quilino AFC's goalkeeper Benedicto Beturian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel Delfino. Ezequiel Delfino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedicto Beturian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Cidro in the 75th minute of play. Ezequiel Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Benedicto Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mauro Ubendu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 98 minutes into the game, Abel Ubelteso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cazapán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quilino AFC the free kick. 97 minutes into the game, one of Cazapán:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 100th minute there was a penalty for Quilino AFC. Tobias Gonsalve stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Siro Demesio. 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cazapán players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Quilino AFC.
