The corner led Palmarcito FC's Efrain Bakar to fire away a dangerous shot which Esteban Giraldo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Chañaritos AFC booed when Palmarcito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Bakar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chañaritos AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 38th minute Timoteo Sandalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Montae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timoteo Sandalio in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Montae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Palmarcito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timoteo Sandalio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bartolo Baumer charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartolo Baumer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernardo Omero might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ariel Montae. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Omero ran back to his position shaking his head. Timoteo Sandalio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ariel Montae came out and tried to block the shot, but Timoteo Sandalio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Chañaritos AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Palmarcito FC side.
