A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Benjamin Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Celino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes of play, Monroe's Maximino Ereinotz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Arce was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Silvestre Ongile managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leon Iztal came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Irazusta's Adolfo Emmanuel. But to his dismay, Adolfo Emmanuel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 58 minutes, Maximino Ereinotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monroe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Ereinotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Joaquin Celino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Arce. Irazusta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquin Celino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Celino in the 67th minute of play forced Irazusta's goalkeeper Benjamin Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Irazusta's zone, Maximino Ereinotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Arce came out of the goal and Maximino Ereinotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Ereinotz in the 72nd minute of play forced Irazusta's goalkeeper Benjamin Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Irazusta got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Urbes. After 77 played minutes Nereo Felipo shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Irazusta's Benjamin Arce to catch but Nereo Felipo was lucky. It became 3-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Maximino Ereinotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Arce having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Joaquin Celino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Arce. Irazusta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquin Celino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Anacleto Bonifaco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benjamin Arce. Irazusta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, Monroe's Maximino Ereinotz made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Arce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benjamin Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Ereinotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monroe walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
