In the 4th minute Pedro Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Bruno Urbez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavino Sarracino in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilario Etxahun saved Naranjo from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximo Rumaldo during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Maximo Rumaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Urbez's late challenge caught a Naranjo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jocolí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Demesio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lisandro Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
The wind increased when Leon Roano made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Pedro Roland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naranjo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Roland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Fabricio Medero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Jocolí's zone, Pedro Roland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Calvet came out of the goal and Pedro Roland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Jocolí booed when Naranjo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Todor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Anaya took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hilario Etxahun. Naranjo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wilfredo Blasi kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Lisandro Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Demesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Roland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Calvet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Pedro Roland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Calvet having to make a save. Leon Roano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Naranjo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
