Cornelio Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7thth minute of the game Generoso Ofelio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corazzi's Cornelio Gaspard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A beautiful save bye Corazzi's goalie prevented a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Corazzi's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Ofelio came free, but Cornelio Gaspard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Club Atletico Gral Acha fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Club Atletico Gral Acha's Generoso Ofelio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cornelio Gaspard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Generoso Ofelio went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute Anier Bidun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Generoso Ofelio in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Gaspard saved Corazzi from getting behind. Generoso Ofelio struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Cornelio Gaspard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Gral Acha. Generoso Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cornelio Gaspard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Bidun in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Generoso Ofelio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Gral Acha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When Anier Bidun came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Club Atletico Gral Acha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Bidun couldn't finish the play. After the first half Club Atletico Gral Acha were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Generoso Ofelio made a kick off. Generoso Ofelio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Cornelio Gaspard when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Generoso Ofelios short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Cornelio Gaspard to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paolo Pudes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Gaspard having to interfere. Generoso Ofelio got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-6 in the right cross in the 64th match minute before Cornelio Gaspard had time to react. Generoso Ofelio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cornelio Gaspard firmly grabbed it by the left post. Club Atletico Gral Acha's Ruperto Edorta shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cornelio Gaspard but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Generoso Ofelio got free with Cornelio Gaspard in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Generoso Ofelios short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Cornelio Gaspard to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Club Atletico Gral Acha played a much better game than Corazzi and deserved their victory. The Corazzi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
