Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gonzalo Lehen kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Salto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Frasquito came free, but Reynaldo Iraunkor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Jurdan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Miguel Jurdan made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Iraunkor. Salto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Jurdan got free with Reynaldo Iraunkor in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th match minute, Salto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Honrio to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Fernado hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Jurdan got free with Reynaldo Iraunkor in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Salto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Frasquito came free, but Reynaldo Iraunkor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Guaraní's Baldomiro Frasquito in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salto FC's goalie prevented a goal. Miguel Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Iraunkor having to interfere. Miguel Jurdan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Reynaldo Iraunkor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Miguel Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes Salto FC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Fernado. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Miguel Jurdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaraní's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Jurdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Iraunkor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzalo Lehen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Ariel Fernado's late challenge caught a Guaraní's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ariel Fernado helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Salto FC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Fernado. After 57 played minutes Guaraní got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Reyes. When Baldomiro Frasquito came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Guaraní fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Frasquito couldn't finish the play. Guaraní's Romulo Aurken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Guaraní from getting a goal against them. Omar Montrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Romulo Aurken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Montrel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Romulo Aurken made a huge save. Aristides Honrio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Reynaldo Iraunkor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Jurdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute Miguel Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Iraunkor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Frasquito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Iraunkor having to interfere. Reynaldo Iraunkor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Jurdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Frasquito in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Iraunkor saved Salto FC from getting behind. When Guaraní's Miguel Jurdan in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salto FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Baldomiro Frasquito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaraní's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Frasquito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Pelayo charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimiro Pelayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94th play minutes Baldomiro Frasquito shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Reynaldo Iraunkor and just under the crossbar into goal. Guaraní's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
