In the 17th minute Julian Quexal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Iraunkor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Salto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Oso came free, but Reynaldo Iraunkor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Iraunkor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Quexal, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Julian Quexal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Quexal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Iraunkor having to interfere. Esteban Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Catamarca's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Lehen came free, but Claudinho Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Julian Quexal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Reynaldo Iraunkor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reynaldo Iraunkor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeo Oso's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute, Amadeo Oso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Amadeo Oso put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Reynaldo Iraunkor.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amadeo Oso made a kick off. Federico Lluciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Oso got free with Reynaldo Iraunkor in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 67 minutes, Amadeo Oso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catamarca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Oso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Montrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Claudinho Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-3 became the score in the 72nd minute when Gonzalo Lehen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 77thth minute of the game Esteban Milian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salto FC's Reynaldo Iraunkor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Salto FC's Reynaldo Iraunkor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Quexal in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Lehen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinho Quadros. Catamarca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Lehen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Salto FC's Reynaldo Iraunkor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Salto FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Esteban Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catamarca's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Milian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Iraunkor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Catamarca left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Salto FC.
