When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Prudencio Ciano put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Saul Bastian. Lino Cuartio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saul Bastian. Guillermina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eleuterio Ihazintu charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Ihazintu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Guillermina getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. The Guillermina players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MESSI 10 FC were winning 1-3.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hilario Bizi to strike the kick off in the second half. Saul Bastian was a little too slow when Arlindo Arruda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 58th minute, Guillermina's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arlindo Arruda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Prudencio Ciano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saul Bastian was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 98th minute of the match Aquilino Tirso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anastasio Sustrai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. MESSI 10 FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
