The supporters of Sauce AFC booed when Club Atletico Policial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Aznar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sauce AFC's Carmelo Jesco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Atletico Policial. When Haroldo Aznar fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Policial's protests and gave Haroldo Aznar a yellow card for diving instead. Haroldo Aznar hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Edelmiro Moise blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jairo Panpili having to make a save. Delmar Gabon was a little too slow when Omar Terciero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jairo Panpili came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Policial's Edelmiro Moise. But to his dismay, Edelmiro Moise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. During the 23rd minute of the match Haroldo Aznar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Haroldo Aznar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. With a little luck, Club Atletico Policial's Delmar Gabon got control of the ball when Fausto Telmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Dalmai charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Dalmai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Club Atletico Policial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Dalmai to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 30 in the game by Fausto Telmo from a close distance when the talented Delmar Gabon managed to make a qualified save. Club Atletico Policial's players were relieved. Club Atletico Policial's Delmar Gabon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Policial from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute Tobias Enetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Gabon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sauce AFC's zone, Claudio Charro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Panpili came out of the goal and Claudio Charro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Charro made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Jairo Hug mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sauce AFC and the Club Atletico Policial players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jairo Panpili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Azevedo in the 54th minute. Club Atletico Policial's Delmar Gabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Telmo in the 56th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Arsenio Tancredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Gabon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Gabon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Tancredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Charro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jairo Panpili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Claudio Charro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jairo Panpili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jairo Panpili made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Claudio Charro sent off a good shot on target. Delmar Gabon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Tancredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Policial's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Tancredo came free, but Delmar Gabon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Nereo Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Arsenio Tancredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmar Gabon. Club Atletico Policial's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arsenio Tancredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Nestor Beltxe kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Club Atletico Policial succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sauce AFC had controlled the match.
