After 5 played minutes Abelardo Cloyo rounded Totoralejos's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Abelardo Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Abelardo Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Potrillos's Abelardo Cloyo got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Abelardo Cloyo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramon Dorio. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. The Totoralejos fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Totoralejos's Jesus Mogel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Filiberto Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Christobal in the 24th minute of play. If Abelardo Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Dorio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Cloyo in the 27th minute. The supporters of Los Potrillos booed when Totoralejos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Gora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Dorio having to interfere. A collision led to Totoralejos getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lino Gora hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Christobal in the 36th minute of play forced Los Potrillos's goalkeeper Filiberto Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Christobal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Mirande took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramon Dorio. Totoralejos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ramon Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Cloyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 47 minutes, Tiburcio Mirande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Potrillos and the Totoralejos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesus Mogel was the one to do the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Los Potrillos's goalkeeper Filiberto Figueroa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiberto Christobal. Filiberto Figueroa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Modesto Millrick. Jesus Mogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Figueroa having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Totoralejos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Arnau to maneuver through the defense. Filiberto Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Mogel in the 78th minute of the match. Los Potrillos's Abelardo Cloyo got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramon Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The long shot by Modesto Millrick in the 92nd minute really tested Filiberto Figueroa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Esteve Arnau kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Lino Gora kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Filiberto Figueroa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jesus Mogel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 97 minute of play. The Totoralejos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
