Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 8th minute of the match Rodrigo Pelayo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pastor Beremundo skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Pavón FC booed when Sauzal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Quin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Honorio Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pavón FC's goalkeeper Damian Elia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sauzal's zone, Jimeno Bidari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Beremundo came out of the goal and Jimeno Bidari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Jimeno Bidari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pastor Beremundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Jimeno Bidari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Lano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Damian Elia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sauzal's zone, Jimeno Bidari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Beremundo came out of the goal and Jimeno Bidari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Honorio Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Jimeno Bidari came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Pavón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Bidari couldn't finish the play. Honorio Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Bidari to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sauzal's Cristobal Odilon got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sauzal's zone, Honorio Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Beremundo came out of the goal and Honorio Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimeno Bidari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pastor Beremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sauzal's Aldo Caton got a free kick in the 61st minute. The long shot by Rodrigo Pelayo in the 62nd minute really tested Pastor Beremundo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Pavón FC's Marcos Sol got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 70th minute, Pavón FC's Jimeno Bidari ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pastor Beremundo. Pastor Beremundo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Ivan Quin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Sauzal's Aurelio Lano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Elia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pastor Beremundo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Americo Cuartio. A collision led to Pavón FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Honorio Cordeiro hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Pavón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Quin came free, but Damian Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sauzal's Ivan Quin got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Pavón FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sauzal throughout the match.
