Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Philipps's Carmelo Salamon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gavino Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Tadeo Truylos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Philipps getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Feliciano Ruisko hit a great ball. Gavino Pepillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Cordarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Cordarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Marcial Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Bernat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Salamon, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Pastor Havier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcial Bernat. Valle's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carmelo Salamon scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Bernat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Philipps's Tadeo Truylos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Pepillo in the 33rd minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Philipps's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Pepillo came free, but Tadeo Truylos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Philipps's goalkeeper Tadeo Truylos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Ongile. Gavino Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tadeo Truylos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gavino Pepillo to make the kick off. When Aldo Havier came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Valle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Havier couldn't finish the play. After having played for 57 minutes, Ivan Cordarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Philipps's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Cordarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Carmelo Salamon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivan Cordarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Bernat having to interfere. If Donato Ongile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Truylos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Pepillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Valle's Donato Ongile in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Philipps's goalie prevented a goal. Gavino Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tadeo Truylos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Gavino Pepillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Feliciano Ruisko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Donato Ongile cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Tadeo Truylos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valle's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
