Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carmelo Salamon got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Cantadero AFC booed when Philipps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Ruisko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Salbatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Salamon in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute of the match Urbano Evarado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tadeo Truylos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Ramiro Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cantadero AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Bieito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norberto Ferrer's late challenge caught a Philipps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Ferrer helped the player get up and apologised. Norberto Ferrer hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute of the match Pastor Havier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mariano Salbatore skillfully saved the ball. Ivan Cordarin spun around in front of the goal 26 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Cantadero AFC's goal. Mariano Salbatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Cordarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Ivan Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Benicio Elivareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dalmacio Bingen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tadeo Truylos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Ariel Haritzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ramiro Bieito made the kick off in the second half. Carmelo Salamon might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Salbatore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Salamon ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 62 minutes, Ramiro Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pastor Havier was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 72 played minutes Cantadero AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Bingen. Carmelo Salamon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mariano Salbatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Salbatore having to interfere. Cantadero AFC's Benicio Elivareo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeo Truylos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Elivareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
