With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Derwin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, Richmond Oilers's goalkeeper Octavio Maldonado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Guillerme. After having played for 24 minutes, Darwin Núñez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Richmond Oilers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darwin Núñez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severiano Derwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darwin Núñez in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chorrillos FC's Alberto Domingues got a free kick in the 28th minute. Joaquin Leocadio's late challenge caught a Richmond Oilers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severiano Derwin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Richmond Oilers. In the 80th match minute, Chorrillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Jakes to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Walter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Derwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Walter in the 91st minute of the match. Jorge Walter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Derwin having to interfere. Richmond Oilers played a much better game than Chorrillos FC and deserved their victory. The Chorrillos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
