Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jeremias Ayala got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Pedro Fagildo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nereo Paublo. Cayanta AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Fagildo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Nereo Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabio Formerio kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Salvador Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nereo Paublo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremias Ayala went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Pedro Fagildo might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Paublo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Fagildo ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Fagildo struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Nereo Paublo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mixto. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Mixto:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cayanta AFC:s goal. Pedro Fagildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Mixto booed when Cayanta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Formerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejo Nel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Indar in the 41st minute of play. Pedro Fagildo came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nereo Paublo could save by the left post. Daniel Aritza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Nel having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Aritza got free with Alejo Nel in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nereo Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Fagildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nereo Paublo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nereo Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Fagildo in the 58th minute of play. Alejo Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Indar, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Ayala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Paublo was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Pedro Fagildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Nereo Paublo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Fagildo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nereo Paublo saved Cayanta AFC from getting behind. Nereo Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Ayala, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. It was beautiful to see Cayanta AFC's Dalmacio Elivareo in action when he in the 75th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Jorge Nazario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Nel having to interfere. In the 80th minute Salvador Indar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Formerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Alejo Nel made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Daniel Aritza notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Mixto's Alejo Nel. Alejo Nel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 90 played minutes Cayanta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Indar. In the 94th minute, Jeremias Ayala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nereo Paublo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mixto had won after a very even match.
