The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Salomon during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Oberá getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Reynaldo Salomon hit a great ball. Gaudencio Jurdan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Foro in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Fernandes in the 18th minute of play forced Durañona's goalkeeper Primitivo Onbera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Foro got free with Gaudencio Jurdan in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alejo Foro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gaudencio Jurdan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Tolino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Onbera having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Rigoberto Nafarroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaudencio Jurdan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Foro in the 34th minute of the match. Alejo Foro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Gagriel got free with Gaudencio Jurdan in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Oberá's goalkeeper Gaudencio Jurdan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Gagriel. Gaudencio Jurdan made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Bruno Gagriel sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Gaudencio Jurdan managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Durañona's Bruno Gagriel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Aristides Fernandes made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Durañona's zone, Antonio Tolino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Onbera came out of the goal and Antonio Tolino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 56 played minutes Durañona got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Refugio. Eustaquio Hustaz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Aristides Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Primitivo Onbera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Jurdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Gagriel, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Foro in the 66th minute of play forced Oberá's goalkeeper Gaudencio Jurdan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaudencio Jurdan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Foro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored Durañona's protests and gave Benicio Goizeder a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Durañona getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Benicio Goizeder hit a great ball. Valentin Henry hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Durañona's Primitivo Onbera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Fernandes in the 86th minute of play. Primitivo Onbera made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Antonio Tolino sent off a good shot on target. Primitivo Onbera was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Aristides Fernandes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aristides Fernandes really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Oberá's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
