The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Angels's Albino Gaufred was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Angels's Feliberto Gelmiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elvio Iago. That made the score 3-0 after 18 minutes of play. Celso Macario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Cristos in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albino Gaufred got free with Elvio Iago in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Esquipula in the 33rd minute of play forced Angels's goalkeeper Celso Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnulfo Esquipula to strike the kick off in the second half. Elvio Iago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliberto Gelmiro's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 53rdth minute of the game Feliberto Gelmiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coronda's Elvio Iago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute of the match Cristian Rius sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elvio Iago skillfully saved the ball. Elvio Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Gaufred in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Gelmiro in the 64th minute of play forced Coronda's goalkeeper Elvio Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Feliberto Gelmiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angels's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliberto Gelmiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Iago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filomeno Sabin charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Sabin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th match minute, Angels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Sabin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Gelmiro in the 78th minute of play forced Coronda's goalkeeper Elvio Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Albino Gaufred had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvio Iago. Coronda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albino Gaufred was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Angels's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
