But to his dismay, Narciso Fix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Donato Urre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Fix, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Mauricio FC's Wilfredo Montay got a free kick in the 9th minute. Horquilla AFC's Narciso Fix got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Horquilla AFC booed when Mauricio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Ireno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Daniel Juvenal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mauricio FC's Donato Urre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Baumer during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miguel Baumer hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Daniel Juvenal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mauricio FC's zone, Narciso Fix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Urre came out of the goal and Narciso Fix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Juvenal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Mauricio FC's Mateo Ireno got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Daniel Juvenal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Donato Urre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mauricio FC's Donato Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Juvenal in the 33rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Daniel Juvenal notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Mauricio FC's Donato Urre. Donato Urre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Fabio Nahia made the kick off in the second half. Narciso Fix received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donato Urre came out and tried to block the shot, but Narciso Fix slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Juvenal in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Urre saved Mauricio FC from getting behind. In the 58th minute Patricio Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Horquilla AFC's Daniel Juvenal in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mauricio FC's goalie prevented a goal. Patricio Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Baumer hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Horquilla AFC were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Mauricio FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jorge Harriet took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jorge Harriet got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Donato Urre quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Wilfredo Montay was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Fabio Nahia hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Daniel Juvenal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Donato Urre. The goal made the score 0-7. Donato Urre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Juvenal's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute Daniel Juvenal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Urre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Fix in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Mauricio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Juvenal came free, but Donato Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes Mauricio FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Harriet who took care of the corner kick. In the 93rd minute Horquilla AFC were awarded a corner. Jorge Harriet went to the cornerflag to take it. Horquilla AFC played a much better game than Mauricio FC and deserved their victory. The Mauricio FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
