The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gogo Karlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Ixaka, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Anasagasti AFC got a corner. Cano AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tadeo Furtado ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tadeo Furtado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulo Pagomari quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Anasagasti AFC's zone, Florentino Frisco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Karlo came out of the goal and Florentino Frisco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Wilfredo Tabb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cano AFC's Paulo Pagomari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florentino Frisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gogo Karlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cano AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Angelo Gizon hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Tabb in the 25th minute of play forced Cano AFC's goalkeeper Paulo Pagomari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cano AFC's Javier Ipar got a free kick in the 26th minute. Cano AFC's Paulo Pagomari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Cano AFC from getting a goal against them. Remigio Gartzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wilfredo Tabb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Tabb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Remigio Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anasagasti AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Gartzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Pagomari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Pagomari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Tabb, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Tabb stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Tabb in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Pagomari saved Cano AFC from getting behind. After 52 minutes, Geronimo Pabla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anasagasti AFC and the Cano AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 55 minutes into the match, Cano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Gartzi came free, but Paulo Pagomari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Tabb blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Pagomari having to make a save. 56 minutes into the match, Cano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Tabb came free, but Paulo Pagomari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Tabb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Paulo Pagomari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Gartzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Pagomari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Gartzi in the 66th minute of the match. Remigio Gartzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Pagomari having to interfere. Florentino Frisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gogo Karlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Remigio Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celso Mendiko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Pagomari. Cano AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Remigio Gartzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Paulo Pagomari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anasagasti AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
