Amado Paez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Neto in the 7th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Yariguarenda's Adan Gau threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eulalio Haritz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Eloy Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yariguarenda's Amado Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Cuarto in the 24th minute of play. Feliciano Lorien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Amado Paez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodosio Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Haritz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adan Gau came out and tried to block the shot, but Eulalio Haritz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Dante Socorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Frutos struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Adan Gau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yariguarenda. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodosio Neto was the one to do the kick off. Arsenio Mikolas charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Mikolas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arsenio Mikolas kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Teodosio Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Yariguarenda getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Natalio Loi hit a great ball. Teodosio Neto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 58th playminute. When Yariguarenda's Eulalio Haritz in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Higuera's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Haritz in the 67th minute of play forced Higuera's goalkeeper Adan Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Sebastian Berriotxoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Yariguarenda's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Neto came free, but Amado Paez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Feliciano Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Rico's late challenge caught a Higuera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robustiano Rico helped the player get up and apologised. Robustiano Rico hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Feliciano Lorien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Paez having to interfere. If Eulalio Haritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yariguarenda's Amado Paez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Yariguarenda from getting a goal against them. Adan Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Frutos in the 90th minute of play. Arsenio Mikolas kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Higuera's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
