In the 3rdth minute of the game Francisco Paranaense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rivadavia's Cristobal Montay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Chacaflores's Francisco Paranaense in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rivadavia's goalie prevented a goal. Evaristo Perutxo might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristobal Montay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaristo Perutxo ran back to his position shaking his head. 7 minutes into the match, Rivadavia's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Paranaense came free, but Cristobal Montay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristobal Montay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Egon Kling shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristobal Montay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristobal Montay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kilian Mbachu hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Pepe Sand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Montay having to interfere. Chacaflores's Francisco Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raul Bastia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kasper Buffon came out and tried to block the shot, but Raul Bastia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 34th minute. Marciano Sanson's late challenge caught a Chacaflores's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marciano Sanson helped the player get up and apologised. Cristobal Montay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Paranaense's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Urbano Nesor in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kasper Buffon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Raul Bastia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kasper Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teobaldo Firman charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobaldo Firman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Rivadavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Firman to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Rivadavia's Braulio Baraquiel got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A hard shot by Armando Rameriz from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Cristobal Montay's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Egon Kling hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Raul Bastia hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Erubiel Otsoko hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Rivadavia's goalkeeper Cristobal Montay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Kepa. In the 68th minute, Francisco Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristobal Montay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Kepa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Erubiel Otsoko came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Chacaflores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Otsoko couldn't finish the play. After having played for 76 minutes, Francisco Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacaflores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chacaflores's Gregorio Kepa was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Rivadavia's goalkeeper Cristobal Montay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erubiel Otsoko. In the 85th match minute, Chacaflores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Kepa to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Otsoko took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristobal Montay. Cristobal Montay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Kilian Mbachu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cristobal Montay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chacaflores played a much better game than Rivadavia and deserved their victory. The Rivadavia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
