After a defensive mix-up in Mollecito FC's zone, Froilan Estebano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Lapurdi came out of the goal and Froilan Estebano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipe Barea hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Esteve Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Riachuelo AFC's Dionisio Luzaide slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Lapurdi. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Froilan Estebano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Lapurdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Cortez in the 20th minute of play. Paulino Cortez had several of the Mollecito FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Bruno Lapurdi as he didn't even see the shot coming. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Riachuelo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Danel came free, but Marco Rayman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Esteve Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Riachuelo AFC defense, Isaac Danel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Rayman. The Riachuelo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Rayman should have stopped the shot. When Isaac Danel came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Mollecito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Danel couldn't finish the play. 48 minutes into the match, Riachuelo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Vincent came free, but Marco Rayman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Cortez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruno Lapurdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Estebano, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Paulino Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Lapurdi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulino Cortez went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Esteve Ofelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mollecito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Ofelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Rayman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Marco Rayman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bernabe Enmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Froilan Estebano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riachuelo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Estebano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Froilan Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Estebano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Lapurdi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mollecito FC's Fabian Natal got a free kick in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Riachuelo AFC's Froilan Estebano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Lapurdi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. If Isaac Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Riachuelo AFC's Marco Rayman got control of the ball when Esteve Ofelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Froilan Estebano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Riachuelo AFC had won after a very even match.
