In the 9th minute, Aaron Macario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Aaron Macario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Duendes Verdes's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Macario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Mitxel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th match minute, Mosmota was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Aaron Macario notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mosmota's Moises Mitxel. Moises Mitxel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21stth minute of the game Haroldo Lope who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mosmota's Moises Mitxel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diego Illart kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Fausto Soin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateo Orlo having to make a save. Filiberto Matthew hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Mosmota's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Illart came free, but Moises Mitxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Mitxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Illart in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Aaron Macario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duendes Verdes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Macario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 42 minutes, Fausto Soin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mosmota and the Duendes Verdes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Duendes Verdes booed when Mosmota was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Soin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Lope to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game, Aaron Macario fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Moises Mitxel having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Lope got free with Moises Mitxel in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Haroldo Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes in the game Bartolo Benino got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. With his leg Moises Mitxel managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Duendes Verdes's Diego Illart fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mosmota's Moises Mitxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Turi in the 75th minute of play. A hard shot 76 in the game by Haroldo Lope from a close distance when the talented Moises Mitxel managed to make a qualified save. Mosmota's players were relieved. Aaron Macario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Mitxel having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Duendes Verdes's Moises Mitxel threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zacarias Turi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. David Jaizki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Moises Mitxel made a huge save. With a little luck, Mosmota's Moises Mitxel got control of the ball when Zacarias Turi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Illart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Mitxel having to interfere. Moises Mitxel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Haroldo Lope showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 96 minute of play. When the match was over Duendes Verdes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mosmota throughout the match.
