Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abelardo Silbestre started the match with the kick off. Abelardo Silbestre took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Lekubegi. Rodolfo Lekubegi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nestor Berart hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Boquerón AFC's Javier Neron broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Fulgencio George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th match minute, Piñalitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Ceandro to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio George's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Tiburcio Turi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 26th minute of the match Esteve Walme shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodolfo Lekubegi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Clodoveo Nahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rodolfo Lekubegi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Boquerón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Peio. 0-2 became the score in the 33rd minute when Abelardo Silbestre elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Piñalitos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Reynaldo Tohias fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Reynaldo Tohias might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiburcio Turi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reynaldo Tohias ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Piñalitos's zone, Fulgencio George stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Turi came out of the goal and Fulgencio George tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abelardo Silbestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Lekubegi having to interfere. After the first half Piñalitos were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reynaldo Tohias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Abelardo Silbestre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Lekubegi was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Boquerón AFC's Reynaldo Tohias got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio George in the 57th minute of play forced Piñalitos's goalkeeper Tiburcio Turi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Boquerón AFC's Rodolfo Lekubegi got control of the ball when Clodoveo Nahia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiburcio Turi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Tohias in the 63rd minute of play. Rodolfo Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Silbestre in the 72nd minute of play. Cosme Matthew's late challenge caught a Piñalitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosme Matthew helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Boquerón AFC! The goalkeeper, Rodolfo Lekubegi, was totally fooled by Piñalitos's Patricio Blai, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Clodoveo Nahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Piñalitos's Abelardo Silbestre slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodolfo Lekubegi. That made the score 0-4 after 89 minutes of play. After 93 minutes of play Piñalitos's Benjamin Ceandro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Boquerón AFC booed when Piñalitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Ceandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Tohias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Turi having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Piñalitos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
