In the 15th minute, Cejolao AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Norberto Dabi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Isidoro Baladi came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Panacán FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Baladi couldn't finish the play. In the 26th match minute, Cejolao AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Galeno to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Isidoro Baladi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cejolao AFC's Cleto Jaunzuria. Cleto Jaunzuria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ciro Gonza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidoro Baladi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustin Jayvier in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Gonza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruperto Egun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ciro Gonza made a huge save. If Ruperto Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Ciro Gonza managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Cejolao AFC's Ruperto Egun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 67 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Furtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panacán FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cejolao AFC the free kick. Panacán FC's Ciro Gonza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Panacán FC from getting a goal against them. Norberto Dabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Jaunzuria having to interfere. Panacán FC's Norberto Dabi got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Panacán FC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Panacán FC's Norberto Dabi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
