Ciro Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Ruy, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Norberto Dabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Fernando Garci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Dalmau hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th match minute, Panacán FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Baladi to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Aquilino Ruy made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the game, Isidoro Gitano landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Colas during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gaudencio Colas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ciro Gonza came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Sañogasta's Gaudencio Colas. But to his dismay, Gaudencio Colas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ciro Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Ruy in the 62nd minute of play. Gaudencio Colas scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Gonza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Norberto Dabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panacán FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Dabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Garci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Panacán FC's Ciro Gonza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Ruy in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gaudencio Colas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Gonza was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Panacán FC's Mateo Lorenz got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Norberto Dabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fernando Garci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Panacán FC! The referee gave Sañogasta a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Agustin Piorno, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Panacán FC's Ciro Gonza. 3-0.
