Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonides Rumaldo started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Leonides Rumaldo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Panacán FC's Ciro Gonza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Primitivo Chiappe kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ciro Gonza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29thth minute of the game Leonides Rumaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panacán FC's Ciro Gonza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Panacán FC's Hipolito Inge got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute Leonides Rumaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Hélio de Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Gonza. Panacán FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hélio de Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Leonides Rumaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. San Martín's Primitivo Chiappe got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When San Martín's Leonides Rumaldo in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panacán FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 44th minute Leonides Rumaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoro Baladi was the one to do the kick off. If Leonides Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panacán FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Dabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Hélio de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Martín's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélio de Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Gonza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Eriberto Dalmau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Ciro Gonza managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when San Martín's Leonides Rumaldo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hélio de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the game, Sixto Silban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Ciro Gonza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, San Martín's Ionuț Roşu got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ciro Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Ubarna in the 95th minute of play. San Martín played a much better game than Panacán FC and deserved their victory. The Panacán FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
