Gervasio Dominix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Peter in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Nunez Padro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gervasio Dominix, 1-0. After 8 played minutes Saladillo got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Mikeldi. After having played for 9 minutes, Alfonso Calixto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Luminosos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Calixto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mateo Raphael fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saladillo's protests and gave Mateo Raphael a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Saladillo getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mateo Raphael hit a great ball. A hard shot 16 in the game by Apolo Peter from a close distance when the talented Gervasio Dominix managed to make a qualified save. Saladillo's players were relieved. After 17 minutes of play, Los Luminosos's Alfonso Calixto made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervasio Dominix was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodosio Celipe's late challenge caught a Los Luminosos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodosio Celipe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Teodosio Celipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jeronimo Marko came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Saladillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Marko couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Gervasio Dominix successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With 27 minutes on the clock, Florencio Goren commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Saladillo! The goalkeeper, Gervasio Dominix, was totally fooled by Los Luminosos's Nunez Padro, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Nunez Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Calixto got free with Gervasio Dominix in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Saladillo's goalkeeper Gervasio Dominix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorio Norino. In the 38th match minute, Saladillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Herena to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute of the match Los Luminosos got a corner. Saladillo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Apolo Peter ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Apolo Peter got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gervasio Dominix quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Saladillo's Gervasio Dominix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Iruinea in the 42nd minute of play. Honorio Norino kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Saladillo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Astor Cesario in the 46th minute. Gervasio Dominix was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Nunez Padro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nunez Padro really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nunez Padro made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Saladillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Marko to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 57 minutes, Alfonso Calixto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Luminosos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Calixto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceferino Koldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Dominix having to interfere. Saladillo's Gervasio Dominix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Koldo in the 62nd minute of play. Gervasio Dominix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Koldo in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Honorio Norino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Dominix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Dominix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Peter, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Honorio Norino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Apolo Peter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervasio Dominix was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Gervasio Dominix came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Luminosos's Nunez Padro. But to his dismay, Nunez Padro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Apolo Peter struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Gervasio Dominix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Luminosos. Gervasio Dominix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Dominix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Calixto in the 88th minute of the match. Rene Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gervasio Dominix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Dominix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Santiago Herena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Luminosos had played much better football throughout.
